The Korean Search Landscape

You might have heard that the Korean search landscape is ruled by other search engines than Google, but by the local web search engines Naver and Daum. This is true and not true at the same time. It kind of depends on the statistics one looks at.

The Korean source Acecounter would grant Naver a market share of 68.56% over Google's 22.91% followed by Daum with 6.95%.

The popular gs.Statcounter grants Google a market share of 65.7% followed by Naver with 28.8%, Bing with 2.85% and Daum only with 1.29% (data of November 2022).
